Yazam Diode
Conventional Security
Unconventional Threats
Existing security technologies (such as Firewalls and Routers) are based on logical rules in comparison to physical hardware-based and optical-based systems, and therefore cannot absolutely ensure unidirectionality.
Risky Pathways
Bidirectional Data *
Organizations can be divided into three categories: those that can connect their networks (e.g., IT networks), those that must isolate their networks (e.g., OT and national-secured networks), and those that need to transfer data only unidirectionally.
Unidirectional transfer can be performed only in either the inbound direction to or the outbound direction from the protected network. The challenge is to ensure absolute unidirectionality, while also controlling the traffic against both malicious content entering and data leakage leaving.
Yazam Diode
Dedicated hardware solution, based on fiber optic, transfers files and emails only unidirectionally between isolated networks, while preventing any kind of transfer in the opposite direction. Data transfer is done automatically without any user involvement.
Main features:
-
Yazam Diode hardware supports optical transfer rates of 100 and 1,000 Mbps.
-
Yazam Diode hardware case is supplied as a 19"-1U rack mount, or as 2 separate tiny cases.
-
Yazam Diode software is installed on Windows machines.
-
Adding the Yazam Directories solution to the Yazam Diode ensures that the data transferred by the Yazam Diode is filtered automatically based on CDR technology.
-
Adding the Yazam Media solution to the Yazam Diode ensures that the data transferred by the Yazam Diode is filtered manually based on CDR technology.
-
Connecting two Yazam Diodes in series creates a real physical DMZ (in comparison with the logical DMZ created by the Firewall).
-
Adding Yazam Directory solution between two serial Yazam Diodes creates maximized protected unidirectional file movement and CDR filtering.
